OUR ST0RY.
Shawn Monchunski is our Master ASE certified mechanic originally from Chicago. Shawn began working the automotive field in 2001 and became certified in 2007. He moved to Lake Havasu in 2019 and was here for a year when he met Keith McLellan (Pilot and longtime resident). Keith quickly realized how talented Shawn was, and began recommending him to neighbors and friends. Together they worked on side by sides repairs and modifications, golf carts, engines and boats at Keith’s home. Word was spreading and they needed a shop! In mid 2020 Shawn met Mike Burnaz (Licensed General Contractor and Veteran). The two hit it off and Mike also realized Shawns talent and drive. Mike was able to secure the shop and SK Motorsports found its home in May 2021. Keith has since move onto other awesome endeavors and SK motorsports is now ran by Shawn, Michael, and his wife Jennifer. Our motto is “WE DO IT ALL AND WE DO IT WELL”. We look forward to servicing the bustling city of Lake Havasu!
